Highlight the code in the textbox underneath the graphic or layout that you want to use, right click and choose copy.
Go to neopets.
Click shops on the sidebar and click the second button on the left of the shops toolbar.
Click create/edit shop.
If you have a shop then skip this step. Fill out the blanks and click create shop.
If you have done step 5 then you do not need to do this step. In the blank that says shop description paste the code that you copied and click update description.
Click on shop front to see the graphic or layout.
If the graphic is not working correctly or is missing then please click here and fill out the form to tell me if the graphic does not work. Make sure that you have copied the right code and that you have copied all of it before you tell me that it is not working correctly.

Userlookup:

Highlight the code in the textbox underneath the graphic or layout that you want to use, right click and choose copy.
Go to neopets.
Click boards on the sidebar and click user preferences.
Enter your enter your password into the current password blank and fill out any other blanks that you need to fill out.
Paste the code you copied into the about me blank and click the change your details button.
Type in your username into the search blank on the sidebar and click the correct user to see the real thing.
If the graphic is not working correctly or is missing then please click here and fill out the form to tell me if the graphic does not work. Make sure that you have copied the right code and that you have copied all of it before you tell me that it is not working correctly.

Guild:

You must have the privileges to change the guild layout to do this.

Highlight the code in the textbox underneath the graphic or layout that you want to use, right click and choose copy.
Go to neopets.
Click shops on the sidebar, click the third button from the left on the shops toolbar and click the teleport button.
Scroll down to the link that says guild layout and click it. If this link is not there then you probably don't have the privilege to change the guild layout. You will need to talk to your guild leader about that.
Click modify guild preferences.
Scroll down to the guild welcome message and paste the code. Be sure that you place the code in the right position. If there is a layout already in the guild it could be messed up if you put it in the wrong place. If you are unsure where to place it talk to your guild leader or someone else in your guild who can change the guild layout. If you view the guild members page the names with a star next to them are users who can change the layout.
Change any other options that need to be changed and click submit changes.

What do I do if I want a custom graphic that does not have anything to do with Star Wars, Harry Potter or neopets?

Fill out the graphic request form anyway. I can do all sorts of custom graphics even if I don't have that kind on my site.

I went to the link for more star wars userlookups and it wouldn't let me right click to copy. Can you fix this?

That link is to a page that is not on my site, so I have no control over that website's layout. But you can still copy the text if you go to Edit > Copy on the internet toolbar.

Why is your site url ob1k.com? Isn't that kind of weird for a neopets graphics site?

I started out doing only star wars related graphics so it sounded like an appropriate name. Now my site does more then just star wars and it wouldn't be a good idea to change it because I would have to purchase a new url and then I would have to keep this site to tell people that I've moved and it's just too much of a hassle to do.

Can I be a staff member for this site?

No. I've been doing this site all by myself since I started and I really don't want or need staff members like some of the neopets sites. If you still want to be a staff member you should try some sites like elite-neo or neohound. They and several others need staff members sometimes. If those sites don't have an opening go to elite-neo and try every site listed on their affiliates sidebar until you find one that needs staff members.

Do you have a ob1k.com guild?

No. I'm leader in a guild already. I've been with that guild since it was first started and I've just recently been promoted to guild leader. You can join that guild but I don't have one set up for this site.

How often do you update this site?

I'm doing this site just for the fun of it and I don't update unless I want to. During the summer I update more then I do during the school year. It would ruin the fun of the site if I was obligated to update on a fixed basis.

Can I be a staff member for this site?

Haven't I answered this already? I'm still not ready to hire staff members. Maybe someday but not any time soon.

How do you create a neopets graphics site?

Well the first thing to do is learn how to make graphics. I learned to make them from this site. I haven't been able to look at it for a while because whenever I have visited the site recently my computer starts going crazy and beeping like crazy but whenever I've tried to look at it on someone else's computer it acts like a normal web page. So the link might work on your computer or it may not but if it doesn't work you should try to find another site.

Once you have done that you might want to find a website that lets you host your own website for free such as bravehost or freewebs.com. After you have tried that, if you still want to create your own site you could either upgrade your account on those sites, or you could start your own from scratch with a site like godaddy. If you choose godaddy then you could either:

Create the HTML code for your site with notepad (which is standard on windows PC's)
Buy a really expensive web page design program which could cost anywhere from $50 to $800.
Use a program like Microsoft frontpage to create your website which comes with Microsoft office to do it with little expense.
If you have Netscape navigator as the program you use to brows the web, you could use the option on Netscape to build your web page. I don't have Netscape so I don't remember what the name of the program is.

If it helps any I picked option 3. Most of the other neopets fan sites pick option 1 or 2. Once you have the website created you can start telling people about it. You could apply to be an affiliate on the other neopets sites (or me). If you want your site to show up on search engines such as google or yahoo you will need to insert an HTML code into your website. To get that code I suggest you get it from here. I saw someone using your graphics without giving you credit. What do I do?

If it's something like an animation or a picture that I created that doesn't have a credit printed on the picture it's ok for them to be using. I don't put credits on pictures and animations because I personally think it's very annoying to have that on a picture or blog that you're useing. The only thing I have a problem with is if someone is saying that they made the graphic that I created. That is plagerisim and is illegal. If you are doing that I could report it to your service provider and have legal action taken.

If you are useing a userlookup that I made please leave the credit on there because I work a lot harder on userlookups then on blogs or animations.
